In addition, Ulla completed the course “European Intellectual Property Law” and thus obtained the qualification Master of Laws (LL.M.), as well as the advanced training “Leadership in Law Firms” at Harvard University. Ulla is founding partner of Alpspitz IP.
Admitted to practice as a German and European patent, trademark and design attorney and as a representative before the Unified Patent Court, Ulla represents our national and international clients in all proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), the European Patent Office (EPO), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the German Federal Patent Court (BPatG), and the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
Ulla is a member of the German Chamber of Patent Attorneys, FICPI, epi, INTA, AIPF, AIPPI and Women in IP, and Observer at APAA, and has many years of experience in various professional organization groups. Currently, Ulla is involved in AIPPI’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, AIPF’s Boutique Practice Committee, and INTA’s Copyright Committee.
Ulla speaks English, French, German, Italian and Chinese (Mandarin).
She did her training as a patent attorney at a patent law firm in Munich, at the German Patent and Trademark Office and the Federal Patent Court as well as at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf. The following years Ariane gained experience in the field of intellectual property as a patent attorney and partner in a medium-sized patent law firm in Munich until she decided to found Alpspitz IP together with colleagues in 2023.
Ariane is admitted as a German and European patent, trademark and design attorney as well as a representative before the Unified Patent Court. As an expert in patent and trademark matters, she represents our national and international clients in all proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), the European Patent Office (EPO), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the German Federal Patent Court (BPatG) and the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
Ariane is a member of the German Chamber of Patent Attorneys, FICPI, epi, INTA, ECTA, AIPF, VPP and Women in IP.
Ariane speaks German, English, Spanish and French.
Christian completed his training as a patent attorney in a Munich law firm, at the German Patent and Trademark Office and at the Federal Patent Court and worked as a patent attorney in a medium-sized patent law firm as of 2000. In 2023, he and colleagues decided to found Alpspitz IP.
Christian has been admitted as a German Patent Attorney as well as a European Trademark and Design Attorney since 2000 and as a European Patent Attorney since 2008. Due to his years of experience, he represents our national and international clients in all proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), the European Patent Office (EPO), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO)
and the German Federal Patent Court (BPatG).
Christian is a member of the German Chamber of Patent Attorneys, epi and FICPI.

WE MOVE INTO OUR NEW OFFICE!
As a modern law firm, we started introducing the paperless file some time ago and converted still existing paper files into electronic form. As a result, we now not only work in an environmentally conscious manner, but also require less office space – compared to the past – which is further enhanced by hybrid working on-site in the office and at home.
With these conditions in mind, we started looking for suitable office space a few months ago and finally decided on a light-flooded antique building from 1912 in the beautiful district of Munich/Obermenzing. The move finally took place at the end of July 2023. Fixed workplaces but rooms occupied by several people are not only in line with our ideas in terms of efficient and at the same time environmentally conscious work, but also enable a fast exchange among colleagues and promote team spirit.
On time for the start of our office on August 1, 2023, we were thus able to begin our activities on site in the new office under optimal conditions and consider ourselves fortunate to have found such premises that meet our expectations.
